When you check in at a participating business, we collect your name and phone number. This information is provided voluntarily by you or a business employee at the point of service.

How we use it

• To provide you with a link to rate your experience at the business.
• To send email notifications related to your feedback (e.g., negative review alerts to the business).
• We do not use your information for marketing unrelated to the business you visited.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

Communications

ZeithBoost may send email notifications to business owners regarding customer feedback (e.g., alerts for negative reviews). Customers are not subscribed to any marketing communications.

Data storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) servers in the United States. We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the service.

For EU/UK users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, your personal data is processed under GDPR. Our lawful basis for processing is your explicit consent, given when you check in at a participating business.

• You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time.
• You have the right to withdraw consent by replying STOP or contacting us.
• You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
• Data transfers to the United States are conducted under standard contractual clauses.
